自分の建設会社を設立して、オープンワールドのフィールドを舞台に小さな土木作業から住宅建築、はたまたビルの建設などの大規模工事まで、さまざまな建築契約を請け負い事業を拡大していく『コンストラクションシミュレーター』シリーズ。『コンストラクションシミュレーター2』はシリーズとして初めてコンソール版に対応した業界初の建築シミュレーションゲームです。
舞台となるのはアメリカの架空の街・ウェストサイドプレーン市。60件以上に及ぶ高難度の建設契約を取り付け、道路の改修や鉄道用の橋の再建、工業ホール建設といった工事関連から、製品やマシンの輸送、運河の補修など、建築に関わるさまざまなミッションを楽しむことができます。

■唯一の建設現場シミュレーションゲームで迫力の重機を操縦！もちろん免許は不要！
子どものころに誰もが憧れた「はたらく車」を操縦する楽しさが味わえるシリーズ。通常は特殊免許を要する建築機械を操縦できるほか、現場への移動で一般道の走行も楽しめます。
